Soczek Roofing Protection Plan – Membership Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Overview
The Soczek Roofing Protection Plan is an annual roof maintenance membership offered by Soczek Roofing. The purpose of the program is to provide preventive roof maintenance, inspections, cleaning services, member discounts, and other benefits based on the membership level selected by the customer.
This membership is NOT an insurance policy and is not a substitute for homeowners insurance. The membership does not provide insurance coverage for storm damage, natural disasters, structural damage, interior water damage, mold, pest damage, or other losses normally covered by homeowners insurance.
2. Standard Plan – $497/Year
The Standard Plan includes the following benefits during each 12-month membership period:
- One (1) annual roof inspection
- One (1) annual gutter cleaning
- Photo report following the roof inspection
- Priority emergency scheduling
- 10% discount on qualifying roof repairs performed by Soczek Roofing
- 5% discount on a qualifying full roof replacement performed by Soczek Roofing
3. Premium Plan – $599/Year
The Premium Plan includes the following benefits during each 12-month membership period:
- Two (2) roof inspections per year
- Two (2) gutter cleanings per year
- Two (2) roof cleanings with moss treatment per year
- Photo reports following scheduled roof inspections
- Priority emergency scheduling
- Qualifying minor roof repairs included, subject to the limitations described below
- 15% discount on qualifying roof repairs performed by Soczek Roofing
- 20% discount on a qualifying full roof replacement performed by Soczek Roofing
- One (1) post-storm roof inspection per membership year
4. Premium Plan – Minor Repairs Included
Included minor repairs are intended for small preventive-maintenance items that can reasonably be completed during a scheduled service visit without significant material, specialized equipment, structural work, or extensive labor.
Examples may include sealing exposed roofing nails, minor sealant or flashing maintenance, and other small maintenance items as determined by Soczek Roofing.
Major repairs, active leak remediation requiring extensive work, structural repairs, decking or plywood replacement, skylight replacement, chimney repairs, large flashing replacements, extensive shingle replacement, gutter replacement, fascia or soffit replacement, and other substantial repairs are NOT included as free minor repairs.
If Soczek Roofing determines that an issue exceeds the scope of an included minor repair, the customer will be informed before additional paid work is performed. Premium members may use their applicable repair discount toward qualifying additional work.
5. Roof Cleaning & Moss Treatment
Roof cleaning and moss treatment are preventive maintenance services and do not guarantee permanent removal or prevention of moss, algae, staining, or organic growth.
The cleaning method used will be determined by Soczek Roofing based on the roof material, roof condition, manufacturer recommendations, and safety considerations. Services that could reasonably damage the roofing material may be modified or declined.
6. Gutter Cleaning
Included gutter cleaning applies to standard residential gutter systems under normal service conditions. Additional charges may apply for unusually heavy debris, gutter guards requiring removal, difficult or unsafe access, excessive roof height, or other conditions requiring additional labor or specialized equipment.
7. Priority Emergency Scheduling
Priority emergency scheduling means members receive scheduling priority when reasonably possible. It does NOT guarantee same-day service, immediate response, or emergency repair availability.
Service availability may be affected by weather, crew availability, safety conditions, material availability, and periods of unusually high demand, including major storm events.
8. Post-Storm Inspection
The Premium Plan includes one post-storm roof inspection per membership year. The inspection is intended to identify visible signs of possible roof damage.
A post-storm inspection does not guarantee that all concealed damage will be discovered and does not constitute an insurance inspection, engineering report, or guarantee of insurance coverage.
9. Repair & Roof Replacement Discounts
Membership discounts apply only to qualifying work contracted directly with and performed by Soczek Roofing.
Standard members receive 10% off qualifying repairs and 5% off a qualifying full roof replacement. Premium members receive 15% off qualifying repairs and 20% off a qualifying full roof replacement.
Discounts cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another property, or combined with other promotions, discounts, coupons, insurance pricing, previously executed contracts, or special offers unless specifically approved in writing by Soczek Roofing.
10. Pre-Existing Conditions & Major Damage
The membership does not provide free correction of conditions that existed before enrollment, including active leaks, failed roofing systems, deteriorated decking, structural problems, improperly installed roofing components, or other pre-existing damage.
If an inspection identifies a condition requiring repair or replacement beyond the included membership services, Soczek Roofing may provide the member with a separate estimate.
11. Scheduling & Access
Membership services must be scheduled through Soczek Roofing or the member portal and are subject to availability, weather conditions, and safe access to the property.
The property owner is responsible for providing reasonable and safe access to the roof and service areas. Soczek Roofing may postpone or decline a service when weather, roof conditions, access conditions, or other circumstances make the work unsafe.
12. Membership Term, Billing & Renewal
Membership is valid for twelve (12) months beginning on the membership activation date.
Memberships automatically renew annually at the then-current membership rate unless canceled before the next renewal date. By enrolling, the customer authorizes recurring annual billing using the payment method associated with the account until the membership is canceled.
Unused inspections, cleanings, discounts, treatments, or other annual benefits expire at the end of each membership term and do not roll over into the following year.
13. Cancellation
Members may cancel future automatic renewal through their account or by contacting Soczek Roofing. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for membership services or benefits already used during the current membership period.
14. Membership Property
Membership benefits apply only to the residential property registered under the membership account and may not be transferred to another property or property owner without written approval from Soczek Roofing.
15. Service Limitations
Soczek Roofing reserves the right to determine whether a requested service or repair qualifies as an included membership benefit based on the condition of the roof, scope of work, safety requirements, labor required, and materials required.
Nothing in this membership guarantees that a roof will remain leak-free or eliminates the need for future repair or replacement.
16. Electronic Acceptance
By purchasing the Soczek Roofing Protection Plan, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted these Membership Terms & Conditions. Electronic acceptance and electronic signatures shall have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures where permitted by applicable law.
